Beko Appliance Maintenance Tips
Beko appliances last longer with the right care. Follow these maintenance tips from our Beko-trained technicians to keep your fridge, washing machine and dishwasher performing for years.
Run a Beko Drum Clean Cycle Monthly
Beko washers have a 'Drum Clean' or 'Hygiene' programme. Run it monthly with the drum empty to clear soap residue, biofilm and limescale that build up in normal use.
Clean the Beko Drain Filter Regularly
Front-loader Beko washers have a drain filter behind the front kick-plate. Clean it every few weeks to prevent E02 drainage errors.
Vacuum Beko Fridge Coils Every 6 Months
Dust on the coils forces the Beko compressor to work harder. Twice-yearly vacuuming lowers energy use and extends compressor life.
Use Salt and Rinse Aid in Beko Dishwashers
Beko dishwashers perform best when salt and rinse-aid are kept topped up. Hard Gauteng water destroys heating elements without proper salt levels.
Don't Overload Beko Washing Machines
Beko drums are generously sized but the rated load applies. Overloading wears the ProSmart motor sensors and drum bearings. Spread heavy loads across two cycles.
Replace Worn Beko Door Seals Promptly
Cracked or warped door seals on Beko fridges and washing machines waste energy, cause leaks and stress components. Inspect them every few months.
